Saturday 29th April 2017 – another great festival concert was enjoyed by a near sell out audience at Nottingham’s Albert Hall.  Ian Watts in his first Festival Concert as MD brought out the best in the choir with a variety of music to suit all tastes, from  ”The Lord’s Prayer” “Love Divine” “The Water is Wide” a medley of Beach Boys songs to “Something” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” –  with Tom Holland on guitar as an added bonus to these last two songs. The Music Makers award winner, Christopher Hill, amazed with his accomplished expertise on the flute and the audience were brilliantly entertained by our guests, Sinopia who gave us pieces ranging from Mozart and Gershwin to Jerome Kern.

Well done to Ian Watts MD, Roger Holland, David Butterworth, Howard Ketton and Rick Morrish for all their hard work in producing another very successful Festival Concert.

We are already planning for next year!

But first we need to get ready for our next concert and a visit from AMK, Amersfoort, Holland – Saturday 20th May – St Paul’s Carlton 7.00 start – see you there?
