We’ve been taken aback by the unprecedented demand for tickets for the choir’s Christmas Concert on the 17th of December, so much so that all tickets have now been sold with three weeks to go.

We know this will come as a big disappointment and we have already begun to consider what we might do next year, possibly looking for a bigger venue in the local area or putting on a second Christmas concert. We welcome yours views and ideas and apologise to followers who were hoping to come along.  Please click on the feedback section at the end of this news item or leave us a message on Facebook

There are still three opportunities to hear the choir at Christmas:-

Saturday, 3rd December - Beeston Methodist Church, 7.30. (See details posted on the homepage)

Saturday, 10th December – Gedling Borough Carol Concert, St Paul’s, Daybrook (with Newstead Band), 7.00. This is a ‘free’ concert with suggested donation to the Mayor’s Charity. Get there early to avoid disappointment!

Sunday, 18th December – Nottingham Arboretum, 5.00. We’ll be singing on the bandstand. Entry is free. This is a great way to end a day of Christmas shopping in the city with the Arboretum lit up and hot refreshments available.
