The Choir has had a busy time over the Christmas Period with concerts every weekend since the third week in November.

Our Christmas concerts are particularly enjoyable especially when the audience participate in the physically active, left right, forward back, up down, Snow Waltz (Schneewatzer).  We have appeared with Newstead Colliery Welfare Brass Band and with Carlton Brass.  Amanda Bruce sang and played the violin at the Gedling Council Concert.  We have been entertained with some great Christmas Soloists. We would like to thank the Lakeside Restaurant for feeding us in between sets at our concert at their restaurant.

As you can see from the pictures the Choir’s Ladies Support Group (LSG) also had a good time, with TWO Christmas dinners.  The chaps had some fun mingling with the diners at the restaurant, with everyone joining in with the singing of some traditional Carols.

The Mayor of Gedling Cllr Mrs Sandra Barnes & her escort Cllr Mr Peter Barnes, who is also a Life Vice President of the Choir, were our guests at the Lakeside Restaurant.

The Mayor held a raffle that helped raise money for her chosen charity for the year – Headstart.
