Entries for the Carlton Male Voice Choir Music Makers Award are now closed. We’re thrilled to have received the largest number of applicants in nineteen years of the competition as well as the broadest range of types of entry. This includes male and female vocalists and a wide spectrum of instrumentalists. It looks like being the strongest field we have had and the adjudicating panel will face a very tough but enjoyable task.
We’d like to thank our followers for helping us spread the word, but most of all offer our gratitude to tutors, teachers and parents who have done so much to support these wonderful young people in becoming what they are today. We expect to have news at the beginning of March of our 2017 ‘Music Maker’, who will of course perform at our Festival Concert at the Nottingham Albert Hall on 29th April.
We hope you enjoy this memory of the talented Braimah accompanying the choir in ‘Tell My Father’ at Festival 2016.
