Our 2013 Festival Concert was held on Saturday 20th April 2013,  at the Albert Hall, Nottingham.

NYJO entertain

Our Guests the Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO) entertain!


The NYJO Guitar, Bass and Drums featured.

Laura Roberts, the Music Makers Award winner, is presented the Trophy by John Brydon.

Laura performs her set of songs to great acclaim!

The choir is taught to "Pick a Pocket or Two" by Fagin ( Barry Clay!)

Well Done Barry! A great end to the first half.

The audience settles down to the second half with the choir singing "Sound an Alarm".

Howard Ketton, (off stage) captures the attention of both audience and choir with his introductions!

Towards the end of the second half, Laura joins the choir to sing "The Nuns Chorus".

The finale: NYJO joins with CMVC in a rendition of Chattanooga Choo Choo!

Another fantastic evening comes to a close. Well done to all who helped in any way.

Laura receives a bouquet for a fine performance.

Roy Smith is commended for 60 years service with the choir.

Fagin's itchy fingers handle the Lord Mayor of Nottingham's chain of office!

The music team celebrate a job well done.
