Jennifer has been passionate about music from an early age playing both flute and piano, but her enthusiasm and dedication soon turned towards singing. She has been a member of Cantamus Girls Choir for 5 years and has toured to countries including Spain, China and Germany winning four gold medals in the process. Jennifer is currently studying at Bilborough College for her A levels including music and hopes to audition for Conservatoires during her gap year. She aspires to go to one of the London colleges of music.

We were in touch recently with Jennifer and she sent us this updated information:
Jennifer Adams is a soprano entering her fourth year of undergraduate study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Suzanne Murphy.

Originally from Nottingham she was a former soloist with the Cantamus girls choir, with whom she has toured extensively. She was awarded the Carlton Male Voice Choir’s Music Maker’s Trophy in 2009 and lately won all of her categories at the Mansfield Music and drama festival.

Her most recent performances include Welsh National Youth Opera’s 2013 production of Paul Bunyan performed in the Wales Millennium Centre and as Jenny in Liveartshow’s production The Future For Beginners at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Jennifer also produced, choreographed and stared in Opera’r Ddraig’s 2014
production of Carmen. Jennifer’s next engagement will be as Miles in Britten’s The Turn
of the Screw.
